Biography
Eddy, originally from Miami, moved back to Florida with his wife and son after earning an advanced honors degree in Government and Economics from Harvard University. While living in New England, Eddy worked in the International Business Sector in many diverse industries including Legal, Information Technology, and Public Relations. For three years, he owned Cambridge Webworks, the web development firm he founded while studying International Relations at Harvard. He went on to own and operate the Miami VR office which he sold for a major profit three years later. He is now the acting CEO of the Orlando VR office which he opened with his partner in 2006. His main street sales experience stems from having helped his family own, operate, and sell four small businesses in the South Florida area. His upper market sales experience stems from serving on the legal team of a multi-national corporation that handled several divestitures. He has earned the designation of Certified Business Intermediary (CBI), and more recently, the designation of Merger & Acquisition Master Intermediary (M&AMI). Eddy is a member in good standing of the International Business Brokers Association, the Business Brokers of Florida, the M&A Source, and serves as President of the Central Florida Chapter of the Florida Business Brokers Association. He has prospered as a VR business intermediary in the State of Florida over the last five years successfully brokering transactions ranging from $70,000 to $70,000,000.
